Eric Lafforgue is a photographer that has visited North Korea a total of six times, and the photos he’s taken of the nation are compelling, to say the least.
He’s now banned from re-entering North Korea after smuggling SD cards filled with photos he took from inside the country beyond its borders.
This photo in particular is quite taboo - a photo of a statue of Kim Jong-un from behind. It's considered to be quite rude to take a photo of any Kim statue from behind.
