This insect was first spotted in India, but since then, reports have spread of its sighting in the United States. The insect has the ability to spread a deadly virus on contact, with can then circulate through the body in mere minutes.
So far, this insect has been spotted in the following states: Arizona, Utah, Florida, Louisiana, and Georgia.
