Worst Pain In My Life
When I arrived at the hospital the doctors immediately started the process of unthawing my feet and hands. My feet were frozen to the point of no return--although this was unknown at the time. My hands came back, albeit quite painfully. The throbbing was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.

My feet never regained feeling and the decision was made to amputate both feet at the shin.

Prosthetics and Positivity
I was in so much pain that having my feet cut off was actually a tremendous weight lifted off of my shoulders. The pain was gone. I was so excited to get prosthetics. Prosthetics and being positive are what saved me from completely breaking down in a pit of despair and depression. Bring it on!
