24. The town of Bethel, New York also refused to host the festival again. New laws had been put into place that would not allow a musical festival such as Woodstock to take place there ever again. It’s unfortunate that such a peaceful festival could only exist once, but one would imagine that a repeat would only have been bigger.

25. An outdoor concert pavilion and museum now sit where the famous music festival took place. The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts opened in 2006 with a performance by the New York Philharmonic. 37 years after their performance at Woodstock, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young performed at the new Center for a crowd of 16,000.
